FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you officiate all types of weddings?

I officiate Christian-based, interfaith, secular, and destination ceremonies from elegant ballroom settings to adventurous hot air balloon vows. My role is to help you create a ceremony that reflects your beliefs, values, and personalities.

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples reserve their date 6–12 months in advance, especially during peak wedding seasons. However, I occasionally have availability for shorter timelines or elopements. It's never a bad idea to ask.

Do you provide customized ceremonies?

Always. Every ceremony I perform is written from scratch after we’ve met and talked about your vision. I’ll guide you through options for structure, readings, rituals, and tone so that every word feels authentic to who you are as a couple.

What does your officiating fee include?

Each wedding includes a consultation, customized ceremony design, travel within the local area, coordination with your planner or venue, and full ceremony performance. Additional options like rehearsals, pre-marital counseling, and vow writing consultations can be added to your package.

Do you require premarital counseling?

Not at all, but I strongly encourage it. Premarital sessions are a wonderful opportunity to strengthen communication, align expectations, and build a solid foundation for marriage. Many couples tell me it’s one of the most meaningful parts of their preparation.

Can you help us write our vows?

Yes! Whether you want to write them together or separately, I offer vow-writing consultations to help you express your love in words that feel true, memorable, and uniquely yours.

Will you travel for destination weddings?

I do! While I’m based in Southern California, I’m available for weddings throughout the U.S. and beyond. Travel fees and arrangements vary depending on the destination. We’ll discuss all of that during your consultation.

Are you legally licensed to perform wedding ceremonies?

Yes. I’m a licensed Christian wedding officiant and ordained chaplain minister, fully authorized to perform ceremonies recognized by state and local laws. As a member of the International Association of Professional Wedding Officiants (IAPWO) and certified by the Wedding Merchants Business Academy, I uphold the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and ceremony excellence, giving every couple confidence that their wedding is in trusted hands.

What makes Elegant to Extreme different?

Your ceremony should mirror your love, whether that means a cathedral filled with candlelight or a cliffside at sunrise. Elegant to Extreme isn’t a style; it’s a spectrum. Wherever you fall on it, I’ll help you create a moment that feels sacred, joyful, and unforgettable.

How do we get started?
